Our contact lens exams begin with a comprehensive routine annual eye exam, ensuring that your glasses prescription is the most up to date prescription and that your eyes are in the best shape for wearing contact lenses. We’ll then do the contact lens fitting to determine the best contact lenses for you. If you had the routine annual eye exam already, bring your new glasses prescription (within 3 months) and we will do the contact lens fitting for you.
After your eye exam and contact lens fitting, you’ll receive a prescription for both glasses and contact lenses. Our approach ensures that you have clear options for correcting your vision, whether you prefer contact lenses, glasses, or both.
Contact lens options vary widely and our exams consider all types, from daily disposable lenses to specialized lenses for astigmatism, monovision, multifocal, or myopia control. We’ll find the fit and type that works best for your lifestyle and eye health.
For those new to contact lenses, our Insertion & Removal Training will teach you everything you need to know about using and caring for your contact lenses. We’re here to guide you step-by-step until you feel comfortable and confident in handling your new contact lenses.
Contact lens exams and services at our office are designed to ensure you’re fitted with contact lenses that are both comfortable and effective for your unique vision needs. We start with a comprehensive eye exam which will provide a glasses prescription, and then proceed with the contact lens fitting. Our office offers a variety of contact lens types, from spherical lenses to specialty options like toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal contact lenses for presbyopia, and FDA-approved dailies contact lens for myopia control. At the end of your exam, you’ll receive prescriptions for both glasses and contact lenses, giving you flexibility and confidence in your vision care.
Please note that we do not sell glasses or contact lenses at our office. We provide the exams and prescriptions needed for you to purchase them at an optical of your choice. Additionally, for our Medi-Cal patients, we provide the free frames for your glasses if you are eligible for free glasses.

We match you with lenses designed specifically for your eye shape, lifestyle, and vision needs so you enjoy clear, comfortable vision every day.

With prescriptions for both glasses and contacts, you can switch between lenses based on your activities and preferences.
