In 2024, Dr. Hoang enhanced her practice by launching a specialized Dry Eye Clinic, introducing innovative heat and light therapies to treat conditions such as dry eye, blepharitis, Demodex, Meibomian gland dysfunction, styes, chalazions, and more. Whether you need a routine exam, annual check-up, or advanced dry eye treatment, Dr. Hoang combines modern technology with a personalized, professional touch to deliver outstanding care.
History
Established in 2018, Dr. Hoang’s practice began near the Walmart Vision Center in Long Beach. With her dedication to expanding services, she introduced a Dry Eye Clinic in 2024, offering patients access to advanced treatments. Dr. Hoang’s career spans private practices, LASIK centers, and ophthalmology offices, where she gained invaluable experience in a variety of eye care settings.
More About Dr. Ngoc-Yen Hoang
A UC Irvine alumna, Dr. Hoang earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2001 from the Southern California College of Optometry (now Marshall B. Ketchum University). During her final year of training, she completed internships at an Indian Health Clinic and a Low Vision Clinic, gaining extensive knowledge in managing complex ocular conditions. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Hoang has served diverse patient populations across various healthcare environments, building her practice on honesty, compassion, and a commitment to individualized care. Skilled in working with patients of all ages—from children to seniors—Dr. Hoang ensures everyone receives the attention and expertise they deserve.
